This guy lived amongst several properties on the South end of Pontiac Drive. He was frequently spotted munching on weeds and acorns, and was known to dig a few holes as well. These pictures were taken in October 2001. Click on an picture to enlarge.
Groundhogs, or Marmots, or Woodchucks, are a large member of the rodent family. They hibernate over the winter, mysteriously emerging on February 2nd to check the weather. |
